Our North Carolina Practice Welcomes Ike Lowry as Senior Interior Project Designer

An accomplished interior designer and architect, Ike Lowry has worked on a broad range of projects in the corporate interior, healthcare, higher education, science and technology, and residential markets. Lowry will be based in our Charlotte Studio.

As part of our firm’s collaborative interiors practice, Lowry will work closely with clients and project teams throughout the design process to create vibrant, sustainable interior spaces.

“I am thrilled to become part of the innovative team that’s helping to shape the architectural fabric of one of the country’s fastest-growing cities,” said Lowry. “Charlotte is emerging as more than a banking and NASCAR center. Uptown Charlotte’s accessible urban core—where the Perkins&Will studio is located—is evolving into a corporate powerhouse across a rich variety of industries.”

Prior to joining, Lowry worked with another global design firm, assisting project teams in transforming their clients’ visions, goals, and brands into functional, sophisticated spaces. His work has been recognized numerous times by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Lowry has a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of Buffalo. Ike is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).

“Ike has a proven ability to connect with clients in a personal way and a passion for designing spaces that enhance the user experience,” said Irene Vogelsong, interior design director for our North Carolina practice. “His success in realizing the visions of a diverse range of clients is an asset. We are thrilled to welcome Ike to the Queen City.”
