We are thrilled to announce the official opening of our new Los Angeles studio location in the heart of Chinatown. We recently hosted an unforgettable evening welcoming over 250 clients, colleagues, and consultants. The event was filled with music, conversation, and inspiring speeches from our esteemed guest speakers, highlighting our commitment to community and innovation in architecture.
At the event, Sissy Trinh from the Southeast Asian Community Alliance welcomed us to the neighborhood and highlighted our partnership on the New High Village affordable housing pursuit in Chinatown. She emphasized the importance of preventing negative displacement and explored how architecture can address the significant challenges facing Chinatown. Richard Marshall, our Managing Director, expressed gratitude towards our clients and partners, discussing the evolving nature of community and our embrace of hybrid work.
Joanne Kim, Chief of Staff to Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson, reflected on our collaboration on Destination Crenshaw, emphasizing the need to battle cultural erasure and create inclusive, beautiful spaces. Audrey Peterson, director of real estate development at Holos Communities, spoke about the challenges of developing affordable housing and our work on Corazón Del Valle, expressing a vision for reducing economic inequality through indistinguishable affordable and luxury housing. Clare De Briere praised our team’s collaborative spirit and dedication to creating spaces that bring joy and peace, calling her experience with the LA studio the most rewarding of her career.
We are incredibly grateful to our speakers for their inspiring words and to everyone who joined us for this special occasion. Our Los Angeles studio is excited as we move forward, dedicated to serving our community and clients with excellence and enthusiasm. Together, we look forward to cultivating a brighter, more fruitful future.
