Perkins&Will Welcomes Massimo Giaffari to its Houston Studio

An accomplished leader with over two decades of experience, Giaffari joins the growing studio as director of operations.

HOUSTON – Architecture and design firm Perkins&Will has grown its Houston studio with the addition of Massimo Giaffari, who will serve as director of operations. Giaffari has decades of experience working on complex public and private projects across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East. In addition to expanding the studio’s global perspective, he is an architect with deep technical knowledge and familiarity with multiple delivery methods, project controls, and management practices.

With over 20 years of experience, Giaffari has successfully led diverse teams in the design and delivery of landmark healthcare, justice, and civic projects. His expertise spans strategic capital planning, portfolio management, design innovation, and complex project delivery models—emphasizing adaptable, human-centered solutions. Known for his collaborative approach, Giaffari excels at aligning project goals with broader organizational and community priorities.
