University of Cincinnati Gardner Neuroscience Institute Wins Distinguished Building Award

Our team headed to AIA Chicago’s DesigNight on Friday, October 25th to accept a Design Excellence Award in the Distinguished Building category for the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute. We were honored to be joined at the award ceremony by Dr. Joseph Broderick, Professor of Neurology and Director of the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute.

The building’s design was informed by extensive user engagement, as well as input from our Human Experience Lab. Design features such as the glare reducing mesh exterior, scaled down lobby, and extra wide corridors and doorways accommodate the unique needs of neurological patients in this iconic building.
