Adriana Portela has been practicing architecture for nearly 20 years. A licensed Architect and General Contractor, Adriana is uniquely experienced in construction methodologies and is able to offer clients a holistic view of the design and construction process. Adriana works across project sectors, leading design efforts for large-scale healthcare, high-rise, higher education and commercial projects. She completed work on the Ghana Ridge Hospital which has been recognized with both local and international design awards as well as becoming the first LEED for Healthcare project on the continent of Africa. She participates in industry organizations, co-chairing the P3 Initiative and chairing the Design Dialogue series. She has been recognized as an emerging designer at the Perkins&Will Design Leadership Council as well as a participant of the Leadership Institute Class. She is a graduate of the University of Florida, with a Master of Architecture.
