Anthony Gianopoulos

AIA, LEED AP BD+C, DBIA
Principal, Operations Director, Seattle

By the age of 12, Tony already knew his future would be in architecture. Childhood trips to New York City with his family fostered in him a love and appreciation for cityscapes, and contributing to them as an architect became his professional goal. Tony’s commitment to excellence in the design and delivery of projects eventually led him into the role of Director of Operations for our Seattle studio.

Tony has always lived by one philosophy: Find inspirational work. It’s one of the reasons he leads most of our higher education projects in and around Seattle. From cracking the code on challenging programs (particularly research labs) to designing learning centers capable of transforming students’ lives, Tony is passionate about higher education, and inspired by its impact on others.

Anthony believes that interesting projects and good design work deserves to be honored. Because of the pride and passion behind his involvement on all his projects, Anthony makes it a goal to submit for design awards. He believes it is beneficial to hear feedback from peers and the public, and this pushes him to submit his team’s work to be shared and honored by everyone.
