Joe Jamgochian

Joe is committed to the principle that great design is realized in the process. As Technical Director, he ensures that project teams across market sectors devise and implement processes that consistently deliver the design excellence our clients expect, no matter how grand or humble the project. In his 17 years at the Atlanta studio, Joe has facilitated projects through every phase, from concept to construction, and keeps up with the latest developments in building systems, codes, and technologies by regularly attending conferences on deep green and mass timber design. This experience informs his approach to process, which starts with building a strong relationship with project teams and creating a structure for continuity of project knowledge. His approach also emphasizes timing, balancing detail with high-level tasks, and slotting the right work at the right moment to enable future work as scheduled.

Joe especially welcomes the phasing challenges and technical complexity of deep green and mass timber projects. He is currently managing a mass timber corporate headquarters project while holding our teams across the Atlanta studio to the highest performance standards.
