Jones Lindgren

AIA, LEED AP
Principal, Atlanta

Since Jones was a child, he has had a deep appreciation for architecture, and particularly buildings of a grand scale. Even from the age of three, he loved to visit and take in Atlanta landmarks—from the Philip Schutze-renovated C&S Bank lobby to the since-razed Terminal Station. That appreciation for awe-inspiring spaces extended to the one building that truly left him speechless: Gaudi’s Sagrada Família in Barcelona.

His love for international travel and architecture has only increased over time. He loves to take solo trips in new destinations, and visit historical cities across the globe. Recently, he returned to Paris, where he did a study abroad program while in school.

Jones is a self-proclaimed “lifer,” having worked at our firm since the beginning of his career. He has taken on a variety of roles during his tenure, and, unsurprisingly, is often found traveling internationally for a variety of key projects.

Fun Fact
Jones is a graduate of Georgia Tech, but all three of his children attended his alma mater’s biggest rival, the University of Georgia.
Jones and the design team created a new steel truss that spans the original concrete frame. A carefully developed rooftop sunscreen and exterior skin complete the building.

Jones’ mother loves to recount how, as a three-year-old, Jones would be devastated any time they left church through the back door. His preferred exit was through the front entrance past the huge Corinthian columns. You can still visit Peachtree Road United Methodist Church if you’d like to see what the fuss was about!
