Nick Perry

Associate Principal, Chicago

Nick’s passion for education is personal. School was where he found a sense of belonging, nurtured his curiosity, and discovered opportunities that shaped his future. Today, those experiences inspire him to design and create learning environments where every student can do the same.

As an architect specializing in K–12 and higher education, Nick believes great design begins with listening. He works closely with clients to understand their goals, translating them into resilient, functional spaces that support learning, connection, and growth. Known for his calm leadership and thoughtful approach, he balances design ambition with practical solutions that stand the test of time.

A fifth-generation Chicagoan, Nick brings the city’s hardworking, pragmatic spirit to every project, believing that thoughtful design has the power to create lasting opportunities for people and communities.

Nick's commitment to education extends beyond the studio. Since 2019, he has mentored Chicago-area high school students through ACE Mentor Chicago, helping introduce the next generation to careers in architecture, engineering, and construction.
