Rick Young
Rick always loved to draw, paint and build as a child. He was often found sketching in a notebook, building model airplanes, or painting small figurines. When he discovered his mother’s log cabin planning books, it was a natural step to start studying the layouts and drawing up his own floor plans. It always seemed like these interests would lead Rick to the field of architecture.
Rick finds immense joy in collaborating with stakeholders for educational settings. By understanding their needs, fears, and aspirations for their everyday spaces, he guides them toward envisioning possibilities beyond the limitations they know and getting them to open up to what can be an invigorating experience. Witnessing the gratitude of teachers, students, and communities at the journey’s end is deeply fulfilling for him.
