Enmarket Arena
Enmarket Arena is more than a venue; it is a shared civic living room. From its early planning stages, the project was shaped by the voices of residents, community leaders, and local neighborhoods. By transforming a long abandoned industrial site into a magnet for cultural life, the arena now brings light, activity, and opportunity to a historically underinvested part of Savannah.
The building’s layout encourages movement and connection. Wide concourses, open air terraces, and accessible seating options make the space welcoming for all visitors. Events spill outside the walls, engaging the city with music, sports, and celebration. The adjacent Springfield Canal, once a source of flooding, has been widened and restored to serve both a functional and symbolic purpose: protecting the community while reconnecting it with nature.
With all electric Zambonis, energy efficient systems, and environmentally conscious materials, the arena was designed not just for today’s needs but with tomorrow in mind.

As the first major civic anchor in Savannah’s Canal District Master Plan, Enmarket Arena signals a bold new chapter for the city’s west side. The 9,500-seat venue brings national touring acts, minor league hockey, and year round community events to a long-underserved area, transforming it into a regional destination for sports, music and culture. It is also home to the ECHL Savannah Ghost Pirates, the city’s first professional hockey team.

Built on a remediated brownfield site in a historically marginalized district, the arena serves as both a cultural anchor and a catalyst for reinvestment. Developed through deep community collaboration, the Canal District Master Plan addresses longstanding challenges like stormwater management and disconnection from downtown, replacing them with flood mitigating infrastructure, expanded greenways, and job generating development.

Designed for adaptability and longevity, Enmarket Arena is built to support Savannah’s evolving needs. Since opening, the arena has welcomed everything, from Disney on Ice to Andrea Bocelli, and continues to drive tourism, economic growth, and community pride.
