Chris Beza

AIA
Associate Principal, Corporate and Commercial, Seattle

Chris believes meaningful partnerships begin long before a project exists and that the best work stems from trust, curiosity, and a genuine interest in people. This philosophy has guided him for over two decades of designing corporate workplaces, mixed-use developments, retail spaces, and urban transformation projects for leading global organizations and real estate clients.

As our Seattle studio’s commercial practice leader, an architect, and a real estate strategist, Chris helps clients navigate the intersection of business, design, and the built environment. He is especially focused on how the Pacific Northwest is changing, from workplace transformation and adaptive reuse to the reinvention of urban centers.

Chris co-chairs the Urban Land Institute Northwest’s (ULI NW) Urban Development and Mixed-Use Product Council and chairs ULI’s Technology and Real Estate Product Council. He leads through service, believing a leader’s role is to create the conditions for others to succeed.

Outside the office, Chris is endlessly curious about how cities evolve and how people experience them. When traveling, he’s an avid photographer and enjoys as much architecture, food, and culture as possible.

Leadership is less about individual accomplishment and more about allowing the collective talents of a team to shine.
