Dave has always been a problem solver. His interests lie in in the technical side of design and in the fine details of a project. Dave started his degree studying construction but soon flipped to architecture technology to focus more on architectural detailing at the University of Southampton.

Through Dave’s travels, he found an architectural muse in Auroville, India, where the community is aspiring to universal peace through welcoming people of all walks of life, politics, and nationalities. In a city where the architecture reflects the diversity of its people, Auroville’s community is striving to address global issues through innovative and sustainable building methods. As a self-proclaimed problem solver, Dave was inspired by Auroville’s unique architectural approach, and the complex technical solutions.

Say hello to Dave

Dave joined Pringle Brandon in 2002. His passion for detailing and creative solutions led him into a technical roll, where he become more involved in site work, ran teams, and developed technical standards for their London office. Dave is now a lead in the London Interiors Technical Team, leading and managing internal peer reviews of projects, and he continues to develop the London office’s technical standards, alongside his involvement in Perkins&Will’s Global Interiors Technical Committee.

A defining moment in Dave’s career with us was his work on the Hendersons Global project. With a progressive, open-minded client team who were striving to create something not done before and push boundaries, this was a dream project. Overcoming many technical challenges on this project has earned Dave a highly respected reputation in the London Fit Out market.

Dave is a keen traveler and, after completing his degree, spent three years working and exploring India, Asia and the Southern Hemisphere, working in a range of jobs from salesman to fire juggling!

Fun Fact

As a football fanatic, when David’s not working, you’ll either find him playing for his local team in Wandsworth, watching his kids football games, or supporting Crystal Palace Football Club!
