Travis believes that a human-centered design process is essential for creating spaces that resonate with users and strengthen community ties. By prioritizing the needs, experiences, and aspirations of individuals, he crafts environments that foster connection, engagement, and well-being. His approach involves collaborative dialogue with clients, educators, and community stakeholders to ensure that each project reflects the unique identity of its place and its people.

"Architecture has the power to inspire curiosity and connect people to their environment."

Outside of the workplace, Travis’s passion for purpose-driven design has led him to many incredible experiences serving communities abroad. He has worked with international nonprofits in Nepal, Kenya and Central America providing architectural services for a wide range of project types.

As our industry evolves, it’s essential for our buildings to better respond to their environments and strengthen connections with the communities they serve. Design with purpose, design for the greater good, and create places with meaning: these core values inspire Travis to use his experience to create spaces that prioritize the needs of people in the conditions they face.
