Lenticular wall
Trophy Office Building of The Wharf

Madison Marquette Headquarters

Washington, D.C.
Hospitality in the Workplace

As developers in support of community and place, Madison Marquette wanted to incorporate those same elements into the design of their office. We created a space that offers a mix of hospitality and engagement spaces, and expresses their entrepreneurial spirit and their built legacy.

After being greeted at the reception area, guests are invited into a welcoming space where they can view the client’s latest projects on a large video screen. A lenticular wall along the corridor is perceived in three different ways and acts as a primary branding element. Photographs of the Wharf are rendered in a bokeh effect, which blurs the photo and is more sympathetic to a segmented image.

The building features a soaring lobby and waterside atrium, fitness facility overlooking the water and a 10,000-square-foot rooftop conference center and patio space with views of the Potomac River.
