Lisa Pool

LEED AP
Principal, Planning and Strategies, Minneapolis

An art major in college focused on drawing, painting, and printmaking, Lisa’s inspiration was architecture. After a commercial interior design internship in her senior year, she realized creating spaces for people was what she wanted to pursue.

It wasn’t until the late 90s that two fast-paced corporate projects would unveil an emerging need for data-driven workplace strategies, and employee engagement, that would inspire Lisa to change the course of her career. She would later become our firmwide leader of Workplace Strategy, and the first person in our firm to offer Change Management as an integrated service to our clients.

Lisa brings a human-centered, data-driven process to her projects. Her empathetic approach to client relationships, and the people who will occupy the workplace, allows her to build consensus. Public sector clients have a growing interest in her work, and that continues to motivate her, as our Workplace Strategy practice expands into other market sectors.
