Comfort and sophistication

Our design for French luxury holding company Kering’s new São Paulo office merges comfort with sophistication. The 350-square-foot space is thoughtfully crafted to support the diverse needs of the group’s renowned brands, including Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and Balenciaga, while also being accommodating to a variety of teams. A combination of natural and noble materials creates a sophisticated, yet welcoming atmosphere that further reflects the company’s identity.

WHAT MAKES IT COOL

The ability to represent Brazilian identity in an international corporate environment is the project’s greatest strength and distinguishing feature. Sophistication is given a touch of authenticity by the soapstone counter, one of the most notable elements in the entire office.

The intimate lighting, with a color temperature reminiscent of natural light, contributes to the feeling of comfort in the office.

The selection of finishes was crucial to the the warm and welcoming atmosphere that is characteristic of the new office, with emphasis on the extensive use of natural wood - whether in American oak veneers or in panels and furniture, such as the large bookcase that marks the space. Another strong feature of the office is the terrazzo floor, complemented by the fabric walls and the carpet, which resembles a bouclé.

Layout and integration of spaces arise from an organic flow, a natural progression from common areas, restricted spaces and, finally, private rooms. Curtains installed along the partitions ensure the necessary privacy in a discreet and pleasant way.

From concept to details, the environments created for Kering combine sophistication, comfort and Brazilian identity in a smooth way,

resulting in a welcoming and inspiring workspace, worthy of the company that brings together the most prestigious luxury brands in the world.
