The Living Room of the Financial District

The Exchange at 100 Federal Street is a grand civic gesture at a crucial nexus of the Financial District–Post Office Square. It is a glass-sheathed counterpoint both to the adjacent park and the looming cantilever of 100 Federal Street. Its geometry, coloration, and glazing purposefully contrast with the larger office building. A formerly windswept plaza is now a day-lit public pavilion that draws professionals and visitors from the neighborhood and beyond. It beckons passersby to enter, collaborate, share great sports or news moments on the large video screen, or become immersed in and part of the vibrant urban scene. Open only a matter of months, it quickly became known as the “Living Room of the Financial District.”
