Carlos Chiu

Carlos prides himself on his ability to roll up his sleeves and finish tasks. His philosophy is based on hard work and consistency. His straight-to-the-point approach has led to the successful management of many of the Miami studio’s largest and most successful projects.

After graduate school, Carlos spent time in Spain, France, and Peru. The experience of traveling abroad strengthened his love for architecture, its history and the materiality in buildings. A self-described “Jack of all trades,” Carlos spends nearly all of his free time building millwork, taking on improvement projects, or tinkering with mechanics. His attention to detail and fine-grain understanding of the construction process has helped him to navigate through large-scale construction administration phases on a variety of project types.

Carlos lives in his projects, often staying engaged years after post occupancy. His level of involvement during construction develops meaningful relationships with his clients. He acts as a client advocate, looking out for their best interests from big-picture design down to small material detail.
