Nancy Gribeluk

AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C
Associate Principal, Washington, D.C.

Nancy has always had a passion for arts and design. When she was in high school, she found design to be fascinating, but it was not until the end of her first year of college that she discovered her passion for architecture.

She can still recall the first projects she worked on after college, while living in New York City. She was working on low-income residential projects and public schools. Nancy was inspired by how a project could affect people’s lives in such a positive manner and has carried those feelings throughout her architecture career. Today, she still strives to lead projects through a collaborative and contextual approach that has a deep impact on communities.

When not working, Nancy enjoys travelling with her husband and their three children. She loves discovering different cultures and their foods, and enjoys entertaining and cooking for her friends and family.

Resilient, adaptable, and flexible

After growing up in Argentina, and attending school at the University of Buenos Aires, Nancy completed her architecture studies at University of Montreal where she learned French, in order to finish her degree. Since then, she worked in New York, Atlanta, and Washington, DC.

Nancy spent the past 18 years raising her children. She has learned that balancing being a full-time architect and a mom is not always easy, especially when trying to cater to the needs of her three very different children, her office work, and her clients. She recalls bringing her newborn baby to a client interview so she can nurse afterwards. Resiliency, adaptability, and flexibility are skills that have helped her manage the process.
