North American Headquarters

Boston, Massachusetts
From Test Fit to Office Relocation

For their new headquarters, this financial services client sought a space that engages employees and supports their new way of hybrid work. Beginning first as a workplace strategy effort, we helped them develop their programmatic and space needs while assessing real estate relocation options. Our initial test fit study established adaptable workplace guidelines and uncovered key values that guided the new workplace vision.

The selection of a building nestled between the Boston Harbor and the Rose Kennedy Greenway public park sparked an elegant new workplace that incorporates rich materials and emphasizes waterfront views. The space is a vehicle for a large, modern art collection, encouraging conversation and curiosity among employees and visitors. Varied, flexible work spaces stimulate innovation, alongside ample collaboration areas that promote connection.

What it is
A modern, timeless workplace that provides employees with a beautiful space that complements their art collection, company culture, and values.
Filled with flexible furniture and robust AV technology, the cafe space can transform into a presentation area, training room, and event space.
A monumental stair links key collaboration areas, such as the employee lounge and large conference room, and promotes impromptu social moments between employees.
Diversity of Place

The largest open areas with optimal outward views are designed with a variety of furniture solutions. By providing quality spaces that give employees agency in their work environment, the space enhances wellness and mental focus.

Material Expression

The timeless material palette thoughtfully combines enduring materials that reflect the strong blue color of the client’s brand, while also echoing the office’s waterfront location.
