Leader and first member of our studio’s green building research team, Kathy has been championing sustainability initiatives on our projects and across the wider firm and broader industry for 20 years. She is a well-respected trusted advisor, sought-out locally and nationally for her expertise in sustainable building design and policy. A passionate advocate, she was instrumental in the recent launch of our commitment to provide clients with a carbon impact statement for every project.
Max Richter, Community and Recreation Practice Leader
Max is a dedicated and engaged leader with a strong drive to make a difference. He is committed to the growth of our studio’s Community and Recreation practice, believing there is great potential for contributing to the healthy development of our communities. A key member of our studio, he also champions sustainable design, our research initiative on healthy materials, and our focus on reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples in Canada.
Jason LeBlanc
Driven by a keen interest in the healthy growth of cities, Jason has delivered some of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects in Canada. With expertise ranging from transit area planning to transportation infrastructure and multi-family residential design, he adds depth to our community building projects at multiple scales. His research on social equity results in high-quality, meaningful projects for our clients and the broader public.
Shauna Bryce
An experienced and strategic thinker, Shauna is sought-out by clients because of her skills as a strong communicator and facilitator—leading our most multifaceted civic and residential projects. From one-on-one mentorship to directing large teams, her design acumen delivers high quality work that derives maximum value for our clients.
Adrien Pratlong
Adrien is an exceptionally versatile designer with expertise in transit, multi-family residential, commercial, and higher education projects. A strong and inclusive leader, he has been instrumental in the design and delivery of Brightside, a significant community project in Surrey that will bring a human-scaled mixed-use neighbourhood to the emerging city centre.
Alysia Baldwin
A skilled designer with a collaborative lead-by-example style, Alysia’s ability to execute beautiful design motivates and inspires clients and teams. Her work on the SoLo and Bellevue projects illustrates her expertise in Passive House, mass timber, sustainable and net-zero carbon design, and demonstrates her dedication to our studio’s core values.
Kaz Bremner
With expertise in higher education and mixed-use projects, Kaz has successfully managed the UBC Orchard Commons Student Complex and UVIC Student Housing and Dining project—one of the largest projects in Canada designed to achieve the Passive House standard. Committed and diligent, Kaz is an influential voice in both our studio and the broader design industry.
