Tim Wolfe

IIDA, LEED AP
Principal, Interior Design Director, Chicago

An industrial arts teacher in high school introduced Tim to technical drawing. Trips to Chicago from his small hometown in Illinois exposed him to the robust history of the city’s world-renowned architecture. A year abroad in Italy provided the inspiration. Together, each experience has informed Tim’s belief that design should combine innovation, a touch of surprise, and always rigor of quality, assembly, and details.

Tim knows that every project must respond to each client’s needs. He listens to where they want to go – and creates designs that express their vision, culture, and values.
Great design also is the product of great collaboration. Tim strongly feels that, from design director to intern, everyone’s input is valuable – when you feel engaged and heard, you can create transformational design.

“The thing I love the most is sitting down and listening to our client’s vision, and then molding that into a big idea. Every project should be different - it should be effective for our client, tell their story, and foster a strong workplace culture.”

Music plays a big part in Tim’s life: he appreciates all genres, and always makes sure he has a live music event to look forward to on his calendar.
