Zan Stewart is our firmwide practice leader for Landscape Architecture.

Zan creates imaginative, resilient designs that inspire thought. In his 20 years of experience, he has completed transformational projects at a range of scales across the globe, including civic plazas, academic campuses, cultural landmarks, corporate headquarters, adaptive-reuse landscapes, botanic gardens, and national parks. On each project, he balances a strong design vision with a refined attention to detail by embracing his fine arts background. 

Both a team leader guiding the landscape design on multidisciplinary teams and a practice leader who draws the best ideas out of his team, Zan prioritizes creative problem solving on any project. His diverse skill set and award-winning portfolio of artfully crafted, sustainable landscapes is a testament to his leadership and his consistent ability to elevate his clients’ needs into beautiful spaces.
