Welcome to our Dublin studio
With a legendary warmth and a can-do attitude, Dublin is the obvious place from which to build our creative network in Ireland. Our latest studio in Europe will be a catalyst for new ideas and creative collaboration; it is an opportunity to serve our local and global clients with a dedicated and diverse team.
Emanuela Caffrey shares her insights on the evolving demands for acoustic solutions in modern workplace design. She highlights the need for products that not only perform exceptionally but also align with contemporary aesthetics and sustainability goals.
“The pandemic reiterated how we cannot get too comfortable,” Emanuela notes. “we have to constantly develop and evolve our solutions and embrace the fact that the nature of work is forever changing. There will never be a one-size fits all solution’.
In Perkins&Will’s Dublin studio, Emanuela and the team draw from a diverse range of acoustic solutions, tailoring each project to meet the unique needs of their clients while pushing the boundaries of innovation and sustainability.

The first nomination is for The Sorting Office in the “Large Office over €7.5m” category. Over 50 years ago, this site was formerly home to Dublin’s mail sorting office. Today, it stands as the first home in Ireland for a leading global tech brand. The site’s historical significance is expressed through playful design features that connect its analogue past and digital future, reflecting the brand’s commitment to moving forwards in a way that brings Dublin’s heritage along with it. Designed to foster inclusivity, positivity, and collaboration, this vibrant workplace is full of colour and joyful elements, creating a hub where employees feel proud and inspired to explore, create and innovate together.
Our second shortlist is in the “Excellence in Sustainability” category. Guided by a holistic framework we call Living Design, our approach to sustainable design ensures we treat every project as an opportunity to create a healthier, happier, and more sustainable world. Supporting this with evidence-based reporting, our Net Zero Now report provides a clear, actionable blueprint for organisations to significantly reduce their environmental impact at a time where many still face barriers to delivering net-zero embodied carbon projects.
This week Perkins&Will welcomed many of our friends, clients and collaborators in Dublin to our first panel event of the year, hosted at MJF Interiors stunning showroom.
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to panel guests who offered diverse perspectives on how the landscape of workplace and corporate real estate is evolving in Ireland, all effortlessly chaired by our Dublin studio lead Justin Treacy. Considering the paradigm shift required in our approach to workplace design, the discussion explored a variety of topics through three pertinent lenses: people, planet and purpose.
