Sandy studied Urban Planning at the University of Waterloo, and went on to receive his Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto. Raised in Hamilton, he was an active member of the downtown music and arts community and is co-creator and founding partner of Hamilton’s own Sonic Unyon Records.
Sandy is currently on Hamilton's Design Review Panel, providing expert and impartial design advice and guidance to the City of Hamilton. His work includes a range of new construction, adaptive reuse, renovation and master planning projects, and has an active interest in the restoration and renewal of heritage projects. With over 25 years of creative exploration through architecture, urban design, planning, graphic design, music and marketing, Sandy enjoys the mystery of creation, ideas, places and spaces; how each connect and grow respectfully together.
