Dave has been a driving force in expanding our Texas practice since he joined Perkins+Will in 1997. He was instrumental in the Houston office’s growth from a two-person studio in 2002 to a 30+person office with strong, ongoing client relationships in the Corporate, Commercial, and Civic, Healthcare, Science + Technology, and Higher Education markets in and around the Houston area. Leveraging his 25 years of experience in Practice Management for the architectural industry, Dave has developed a strategic vision for the Austin, Dallas, and Houston offices that encourages all staff to be client-centric in melding innovation with function.
Passionate about sharing his insight with the other professionals working in the built environment, Dave is an active member on numerous boards and committees. He has spoken on panels at the University of Texas and the Society for Marketing Professional Services events about the importance of a mentor – protégé initiative within an office or program, as well as the importance of small business participation on projects. As leader of the Mentor – Protégé program for Perkins+Will, Dave was able to provide real workplace experiences to future members of the architectural industry.
