A Place Like No Other
Austin has always been a frontier town; not only historically but culturally and creatively, and in always pushing boundaries. Sitting on the 98th Meridian, Austin occupies that invisible line that geographically divides the U.S., demising East from West, the threshold between wet-timbered terrain from the level, arid, treeless plains of the great Western country that marked the doorstep to Manifest Destiny.
Straddling this line, and despite its central location in the state, Austin feels like a border town – one located somewhere between its own past and its as-yet-written future. Always on the cusp of its own becoming, Austin is a weird convergence of eclectic cultures and rich histories, of colorful characters and diverse perspectives, of invention and reinvention, grit and determination, of myths and legends and, in this, a place like no other.

Our team participates in a wide variety of charitable events and philanthropic ventures both within the industry and in service to the communities where we live and practice from Education Foundation fundraisers to Meals on Wheels to sculpture exhibits at Umlauf Sculpture Garden and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
